Outstanding restoration includes: Paint & Body completely dis-assemble car, body preparation to bare metal, show quality paint to kardex color (ruby red). Replace with all new rubber components. Under-carriage & front trunk compartment detail: Includes striping the complete undercarriage to bare metal, undercoating to factory specification, clean and detail inside floor pans, complete front trunk stripped and undercoating to factory specification, remove fuel tank, strip to steel and detail. Engine Bay: Remove engine & disassemble all sheet metal, engine bay detail with engine out of the car, completely detail engine case, strip all sheet metal to bare metal and powder coat factory spec, zinc plate all linkage and fuel lines. All new hardware to be used in re-assembly, original Mahle Piston & cylinders with new rings, new main bearing and rebuilt rods, rebuilt cylinder heads, rebuilt carburetors, rebuild fuel pump, rebuild distributor, new distributor cap and rotor. New spark plugs & wires, new clutch, pressure plate and T/O bearing. New sport muffler and new set of the correct decals. Suspension, brake and transmission: detail all suspension and replace all worn parts, transmission complete rebuilt including all new synchromesh and bears,complete braking system rebuilt including: new master cylinder, brake lines, brakes shoes, turn drums and wheel cylinders, rebuild link and kingpins, all new shocks. Interior: Complete new interior in black, new German cloth soft top, new correct German square weave carpets (Charcoal), dash board recovered, steel Speedster seats re-upholstered, detail & paint(savannah beige) soft-top frame, steering column, deluxe horn ring and steering wheel. New rubber floor mats and center tunnel mat, new German cloth boot cover. Practically zero miles since the restoration.
